It is the mission of the Bremen Food & Clothing Bank to improve the quality of life for families in the West Georgia and surrounding areas. We do this by assisting familes with food, clothing, personal care items, household items and more.
The Bremen Food & Clothing Bank receives the funding necessary to carry out this mission from individuals, civic groups, churches, businesses, and foundations.
In the near future we will have a stand alone clothing closet so clothing can be available on nonfood distribution days. We also hope to one day have transitional housing for dislocated families.
Statistics show that most Americans are only a few missed paychecks from being homeless and in need. The uncertainty of the economy, job insecurity and increasing gas prices are putting an even greater strain on families already suffering from economic hardship.
For over a decade the Bremen Food & Clothing Bank has worked to ease this economic strain by supplying food and clothing assistance to both working and nonworking families.
We are here to provide a hand up to those who are doing all they can to survive. While we cannot prevent financial difficulties from occurring, TOGETHER we can provide a beacon of hope. With your help we can make sure that if and when the need arises there will be a place for all in need to find help.
